The Cross O Ranch was established in 1890 and has seen five generations live in the same house at the same location. Nestled just outside of Riggins, the ranch lays at the bottom of the canyon next to the Salmon River when the beauty and views are absolutely breathtaking. Derek and his wife Jessica made the decision to pack up their four kids and move back to the ranch after the death of Derek’s father, Dave. Riggins Assembly of God is a local church providing ministry for families and children. The church provides Adult Bible Studies at 9:30 am on Sunday and worship at 10:45. Ministry to boys and young men (Royal Rangers) and ministry to girls and young ladies (Girls Only Ministry) takes place every Wednesday at 6:00 pm. Participants in these ministries have the opportunity to attend special camps and campouts every year. The church hosts an Annual Kids Christmas Program and a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service plus other special events. The church's theme is "The Fellowship of Championship" since Riggins produces so many champions from so many areas and activities.
