We are Cody and Grace Killmar; recent first time parents to our beautiful baby girl, proud Idaho locals, and both Idaho licensed EMTs. We both enjoy being an active part of our community and this, combined with our knowledge and experience, is what incited the vision for Essential EMS! We strive to serve and educate our communities
We have created a “web-based learning center”, complete with video conferencing for skills verification. We are also approved to teach and certify BLS Courses for the Health Care Provider, ALL ONLINE! More good news for BLS Providers needing to RENEW their certification, there is no requirement to demonstrate skills. Just complete the online training!
A complete course list has been posted in the "Courses" tab at the top. We value allowing our students to complete courses in their home and on their own time. We have accomplished just that.

Our Training Center is a HSI Nationally Accredited Organization of the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education.
All of our training programs are equivalent to the programs offered by both the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross (ARC). HSI is a recognized major sponsor of CPR training programs.
We can provide a list of approvals if you have any questions whether your certification will be accepted by your employer or be compliant with your medical certification.
